Rawsie is in award-winning raw image compression tool developed by a Swiss startup Dotphoton. Dotphoton is made up of an experienced and friendly team and our products are used by photographers, space and biomedical system manufacturers and researchers.

Rawsie is used by pro photographers around the globe to save storage space, speed up file transfer and reduce carbon footprint by up to x5.
We are looking for a full-stack developer to rebuild Rawsie to a cross-platform solution as anticipated by thousands of existing users and waitlist.

What would you be doing?

• Architect and build a scalable cross-platform Mac/PC product
• Redesign product infrastructure: payment processing, user data platform, etc.
• Help improve performance, reliability and customer satisfaction
• Ongoing development of new functionality
• You will be working closely with our chief software architect and a product owner

Stack

• Javascript / Typescript
• Electron with cross-platform packaging and deployment
• Vue.js
• Python
• Django, including management of relational databases
• AWS, in particular management/maintenance of EC2 instances
• HTML/CSS

You are

• Fluent English speaker
• Have 3+ years work experience or a degree in computer science or physics

Bonus points

• Love for photography
• Experience with Git CI/CD
• Experience with native macOS/iOS apps and Swift
• WebAssembly
