Dotphoton presenting at ESA and CNES event

Space tech is consistently advancing, especially in the realm of satellites. As a result, the compression and optimiation of satellite images for enhanced on-board throughput and access to top-quality raw images have become increasingly relevant.

With this in mind, our CTO, Bruno Sanguinetti, was invited to speak on the first day of the 8th International Workshop on On-Board Payload Data Compression. This event, put together by the European Space Agency (ESA) and CNES, is happening now in Athens.

This workshop is all about on-board payload data compression, a key topic in space technology. Events like this help people work together, come up with new ideas, and decide on the next steps for the field.

A big thanks to Roberto Camarero, Mickael BRUNO, and everyone else who organized the event for inviting us. Their hard work in setting up this workshop is clear to see. We're keen to continue learning from others, be part of vital discussions, and share our own thoughts, insights and research in the space industry.

Keep an eye out for more updates, and here's to the future of space tech!
